Children and their families that attend Footprints are always welcome to participate and enjoy the worship services, mission work and fellowship of New Hurley Reformed Church.  However, if you'd rather not, that's perfectly okay.  For more information about New Hurley Reformed Church, please visit the church's website  at

Footprints Nursery School is an outreach mission of the New Hurley Reformed Church, Wallkill, NY.  It's mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, educational experience for preschoolers in our community.  Although Christian values are evident throughout the program, Footprints does not teach a religious curriculum.
Footprints offers a comprehensive program for children ages 3 through 5, where learning and Kindergarten readiness are balanced with social development and play.
  1. Our Amazing Staff
In order to provide your child with a supportive early learning environment, the school employs a staff of 2 teachers. Each staff member is an experienced, highly qualified, talented and loving individual. Both teachers are Pediatric CPR and First Aid certified.. Our teachers attend professional workshops to learn new theories, principles and strategies in teaching preschool children. They work together as a team to develop creative activities and share valuable resources. Thanks to our staff, the family atmosphere at Footprints is warm, supportive, and very friendly.
  2. A Typical Day
Our class is structured, yet flexible as to allow spontaneity as circumstances arise. A typical day begins at 9:00 a.m. with arrival and warm greetings for everyone. Morning Meeting - Welcome, calendar, weather story, sharing Centers - Art, Science, Music, Blocks Manipulatives, and Dramatic Play Snack - nutritious, and many times tied into our weekly theme Indoor/Outdoor Play - we are fortunate to have use of the indoor gym in the church hall during bad weather and we also have an outdoor, fenced playground.
